Event to consider considering tax litigation from an EU perspective on 24th January. Presentation to be delivered by Catherine Donnelly SC and chaired by Grainne Duggan BL.

This CPD will take place in the Gaffney Room, Distillery Building on Wednesday 24th January 2024, from 4.30pm to 6.30pm.


This CPD will consider tax litigation from an EU perspective; including key and recent EU Case Law, and their application in CJEU and national court fora.


Who should attend? Law Library members, solicitors, tax advisors and those in in-house settings.


Speaker: Catherine Donnelly SC 


Catherine was called to the Bar of Ireland in 2007 and was called to the Inner Bar in 2020. She was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2003 (Gray’s Inn). Her practice ranges from EU Law, Constitutional, Commercial and Public Law.


Chair: Grainne Duggan BL


This is a joint event with the Irish Society of European Law (ISEL).


The CPD will feature a discussion and open floor for practitioners to examine key topics raised, followed by refreshments and networking in The Sheds.
