Ms Marie-Claire Maney was appointed as the Chairperson of the Tax Appeals Commission on 1st July 2020.
Prior to taking up her appointment as Chairperson, Ms Maney was the Revenue Solicitor and the Assistant Secretary and Head of the National Enforcement Division for the Revenue Commissioners for over 9 years. Previously, she was the Head of Legal Affairs and Human Rights for An Garda Síochána and acting Head of Legal Services for the Police Service of Northern Ireland.
