Alison Keirse is a senior counsel specialising in insolvency, commercial law and tax. I have practised in the High Court and Commercial Court of Ireland and in the Appeal Commissioners and appeared in a number of significant tax cases including the Droog, Hanrahan and Bookfinders cases and more recently in the Supreme Court in the Flaherty CGT case in which the question of when a contract is conditional for CGT purposes, was in issue.
